Prophets and Priests
Prophets were men and women selected by God to speak in his name and deliver his messages. Sometimes they are called seers, because they could see into the future. They helped people who had problems, and they told people how to live according to God's commands.
Priests prayed for the people, offered sacrifices, explained God's instructions, and took care of the Tabernacle and Temple.
